DOING GOOD BETTER

 

While producing content for Social Foodies business in Uganda, we were hired to produce in-action sequences of Thor Thorøe, the founder of Social Foodies, for the production company Community Content. They were creating a pitch for a danish documentary series about Thor and his life as an social entrepreneur with business all over Africa.

Thor does good but better. His business is a sustainable quality concept that helps socially vulnerable through projects in both Africa and Denmark. In other words, he builds healthy relationships with the farmers in Africa deliverings his goods such as chocolate, coffee and fruit.

The Ugandan trip’s main goal was to build new relationships with fruit farmers, and from that figure out if it could be possible to import real ripe fruit from Uganda to the business’ in Denmark with 36 hours per shipment.

The documentary pitch is still ongoing and the footage displayed is therefore just a visual sample of in action shots of Thor interacting with the african community and culture.
